A former tri-athlete, Guilherme Cascon is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the illustrious Master Carlos Henrique, who coaches at the Brazil 021 team academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Guilherme has reached the podiums of important tournaments throughout his competitive career, such as the Brasileiro and the Copa Rolls Gracie.

Guilherme Cascon Biography

Guilherme Cascon was born on the 9th of September, 1966 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Guilherme started training Jiu Jitsu relatively late in life, he was 24 years old at the time. Cascon had always been a sports man, competing Basketball for 10 years and running marathons and triathlons, but after becoming a father he decided to change to a sport that would be closer to home. He decided on Jiu Jitsu as a few of his friends already practiced the martial art.

His first coach was Carlos Henrique, who taught Guilherme from day one until his black belt award cerimony on the 5th of November, 2008.
