Injana Goodman is a Spanish/British grappler and a black belt in jiu-jitsu under Max Bickerton, who specializes in the No-Gi facet of the sport, making waves in the sport while competing under ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) and IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) rulesets. Injana Goodman’s breakout year was 2025, her rookie year as a black belt, when she conquered gold at the ADCC European Trials and the European No-Gi Championships, as well as silver at the Pan American No-Gi Championship.

Injana Goodman Biography

Injana Goodman was born in August 2003 in Alicante, Spain, but spent her formative years in a small town near Valladolid. Goodman moved to the United Kingdom when she was 11, settling in London.

Growing up, Injana was a fan of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and would follow the sport with her brother. The love for MMA led her brother to join a combat sports club, which, further down the line, led him to advise Goodman to try jiu-jitsu, which she did.

Injana’s first class took place in August 2018, shortly after her 15th birthday, at Max Bickerton’s academy in London. Bickerton guided Goodman from white to black belt, the latter a promotion that took place on June 30, 2025.

Although well-known as a no-gi specialist, Injana Goodman was an avid gi player up until her purple belt, when she transitioned to full no-gi training.
