One of the most accomplished jiu jitsu competitors in the world, Roger Gracie has won over 10 BJJ world jiu jitsu championship medals, including 3 golds in the open weight division, a deed never done before. Roger Gracie has other titles such as the ADCC championships, European Open and Pan American Championship, as well as a career in Mixed Martial Arts – MMA.

Claudio Silva

Claudio Henrique, also known as “Mineiro” or “Banheira” is another fantastic black belt under Ricardo Vieira, an European and South American Champion with a fantastic future ahead of him.

Gilbert Burns “Durinho”

Gilbert Burns, also known in the Jiu Jitsu community as “Durinho” is one of the Top BJJ lightweights in the World having won some of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The Atos Team standout came to the limelight of Jiu Jitsu in 2009 after he reached the final of the Mundials, but his great moment came in June 2011 wen he defeated favorite Kron Gracie for the World BJJ title.

Toquinho is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Murilo Bustamante. He fights out of the Brazilian Top Team camp in Rio de Janeiro, and his life story is an example of perseverance and self belief.

Bernardo Faria

Bernardo Faria is a World Jiu Jitsu champion from the Alliance Jiu Jitsu academywho holds an extensive competitive resume with titles at the world’ top tournaments such as the European Open, Pan American and Brazilian Champion. Bernardo Faria is a black belt under Ricardo Marques who moved to the Alliance team in 2009.

Claudio Calasans

Claudio Calasans is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo black belt, who fights for the Atos Team. He was won 2 World Championships in the Black Belt Division, but what brought him fame in the BJJ Community was his win at the World Pro Cup in Abu Dhabi in 2010.

Marco Canha

Another fantastic Black Belt from the Checkmat Academy, this Rio de Janeiro native has been training BJJ for the most part of his life. Starting off with Murilo Bustamante and training today under Coach extraordinaire, Ricardo Vieira.

One of the main Heavyweights to have ever come out of the Nova Uniao camp, Ricardo “Demente” has had a hard and strenuous path to success, after spending 3 years out of Jiu Jitsu due to lack of sponsorship, he returned in 2009 with great wins over some of BJJ’s very best. After helping several professional MMA fighters with their ground game Ricardo Abreu decided to try his luck at MMA also.

Named as the “Jiu Jitsu Fighter of the Year” in 2011 by the majority of the specialized media, Rodolfo Vieira is considered by most as the number 1 grappler in the world. A World Champion (weight and absolute) and a Pan American Champion (also in his weight class as well as the absolute division), Rodolfo Vieira fights out of the GFTeam camp and he is a black belt under Master Julio Cesar Pereira.
